Unit-Test in 0,04sec statt vorher 2-3sec. Hätte ich nicht erwartet.
CPU Last bei "idle" jetzt so bei 15-20% statt den dauer-100 von vorher. Hoffe das bleibt so :)
For any #Django + #Docker#Compose users out there, I was struggling for several days because template and code changes were only being picked up once per session and then cached to infinity.
I switched from #Orbstack back to vanilla Docker and that problem went away.
So I think they might have a bug or something else that's non-obvious. I checked and didn't see an issue logged yet.
I like Orbstack a lot, but what a frustrating bug to fight.
updated last week finally #macOS to #Sonoma since then I have the problem, that it takes up t o a minute that Dock.app comes up. It seems frozen. No Dock, No Cmd+Tab switch - although it works, I don't see the UI. Any ideas?
Switched from #docker desktop to #orbstack last week, so far so good. Everything runs way faster, and the effect on battery life is noticeable as well. The only thing I had to do exra was docker-compose up --force-recreate since a network has been missing.
Oh my #OrbStack is incredible! If you need to run (docker) containers or Linux VMs on #macOS install this immediately. Such a super smooth experience! https://orbstack.dev
