The #Kremlin has relocated some of its #BlackSea assets from #Crimea to its #Novorossiysk base in Russia's #Krasnodar region, further from #Ukraine's coastline. Moscow is also thought to be establishing another base in #Abkhazia, a breakaway region internationally recognized as part of #Georgia.
#Russia is vulnerable to attacks on its oil export ports, since oil fuels its war economy. Biggest Black Sea exit point is the CPC terminal (top left), from which lots of #Kazakh oil exits. Next most important is #Novorossiysk (top left), which has seen #Ukrainian drone attacks...
Kyiv Post: sources at the SBU said: “The SBU conducted a special operation in #Novorossiysk Bay - the large amphibious assault ship ‘Olenegorsky Gornyak’ was damaged.
“The video shows how an #SBU surface #drone, loaded with 450 kilograms of TNT, attacking an enemy ship with about 100 crew members.
Ukraine attack on #Novorossiysk naval base inside Russia was successful, Ukraine video footage of the attack but also independent footage shows vessel ( Ropucha-class) badly listing on its side. Quite an achievement if you see the distance from Ukraine ports.
When I reported this early morning about the USV attack in Novorossiysk I was already suspecting that something is different and here we have the reason why.
The Russian regime first triumphantly claimed that the attack was repelled but here we have footage of a heavily damage Ropucha class landing ship, possibly the “Olenegorsky Gornyak”. She has heavy list to her port side.

Footage said to be from #Novorossiysk on a few telegram channels appears to show one of the #Russian (landing) ships leaning on its side and is being towed ashore.
Thus far there wasn't a single location where Ukrainians would break through the first line of Russian reinforced emplacements.
In fact: There isn't a place where #Russia was even forced to fight for their first line. Fights are only going on the front lines which are getting pushed back and forth.
Bakhmut - still strong in RU hands.
Avdiivka - looks worse than before the c.off.
Wagner gone, but no breakthrough.
Ukraine made a breakthrough from #Klishchiivka, pushing RU behind railway line going South from #Bakhmut. Similar push was attempted North from the city, but without success.
UA hit Ropucha-class landing ship #OlenegorskyGornyak in a port of #Novorossiysk (Krasnodar Krai) with a naval drone (widely publicised news)
Around an hour ago UA made another strike on #Kerch bridge, alarms and gunshots heard. Results unknown.
