New #introduction post! I am a chill person just looking for a void to scream into and engage in an occasional conversation with random strangers. I have one too many profiles, but I'll put those in a different post and pin it. I'm #Black, #Transmasculine#Genderqueer, and #Queer. I'm a #Self-published #author. A huge #MusicLover. I'm serious I will listen to anything. I occasionally delve into #politics but it's most vague posts, and #USPol since I'm in the US. Feel free to say hi!
I know it's a personal thing but:
I'm impressed to know that there are more friends who are turning to digital music and throwing away their physical collection. No way!
As long as God lets me, I won't go digital and lose my whole-life collection! #MusicLover#VinylRecords#Cassettes#CompactDiscs#MiniDiscs#DVDs#VHS
Just surfing on the net, watching those nice pics. After listening a couple of cassette tapes, now I'm convinced that I really need to replace my actual speakers for a 3 way large speakers, suitable for analogue sound and perfect for my 1982 #Pioneer amplifier! #MusicLover#HiFi
I love that black look and the CD + MD players. So ideal to save space like in my place. Writing in my wishlist. Let's see if it appears during year 2024.
In God's will !
I don't know where that cover comes from. However I like it, since it means to me: that's how I feel when finally get any record I look for decades, especially the Japanese and Chinese music from the 1980's. #VinylRecords#VinylCollector#VinylLover#MusicLover
I never forget back in the 1980's. I was just 11 years when saw a beautiful pic of a Compact Disc and the laser from a magazine's ad. I learned that it was the latest technology innovation at that time. I ripped it from the mag and placed on my room's wall, at the side of my bed.
Wondered how it sounds, how looks like and if I could have one in the future. That was my childhood dream. Got my first CD in 1988, and got my first CD player at 1992. #MusicLover#CompactDisc#DigitalAudio
Now my next dream!
An #CompactDisc / #MiniDisc player combo! I would love to have that way. Maybe a newer one possible due of some long-play compact discs (especially Japanese editions).
Hope to make it true 2024-2025 in God's will ! #MusicLover#HiFi#Stereo#ATRAC#Analogue
For me, a record, a tape or a disc is the physical reference from the artist I like so much in my collection. That's not the same to have a digital file or streaming, unless it's a #MiniDisc Nice article
Just checking my music collection...
and right now I remember someone back in mid 1990's stole one important vinyl record (among the others) and it's now valued $800USD.
I curse him... I really curse him
I had an online friend who helped me to find some music and send to me.
Back in 2012 an 10" vinyl record was released under the price of $10USD or less. I asked her to buy it for me. Days later she told me she got the record and we planned to pay and then send it to me.
Suddenly she disappeared from all the Internet sites, I don't know why.
Now, that vinyl record can be found at the price from $75 to $120USD.
How I hate this so much... #VinylCollector#VinylRecords#Vinyl#MusicLover
What a nice #Bluetooth receiver!
I have an 1982 amplifier and obviously it don't have the Bluetooth system, so by adding it, would upgrade my sound system and use for certain playlists I have in my tablet or laptop. I'm interested ! #MusicLover#Mp3#FLAC#DigitalMusic#Esinkin
Need an advice:
I have that pair of wood-box 3-way speakers, from an old #Samsung stereo I had back in 1991. Those speakers are now wornout/damaged, but the boxes are in good condition. My question: can be possible to replace the speakers and put new ones?
I wanna use them for my 400W amplifier but need new speakers with the correct impedance/parameter for it. #MusicLover#TechHelp
That's so true... As I posted time ago, records stores were the best spot for the meetings during late 1980's and the 1990's. So bad there are few stores where I live now... #MusicLover#RecordsStores#1980s#1990s
Finally got the Bluetooth receiver tonite! Works better than expected !
Glad my 1982 Pioneer amplifier is now upgraded and can stream digital files from apps like Bandcamp and CloudPlayer via tablet or laptop. Great ! #MusicLover#Bluetooth#Bandcamp#Cloudplayer#Digital#MP3
