Contextualisation. J’utilise la lessive Maison Verte, qui lave moyen. De temps en temps, je disais à Sabine : « j’achète un peu de Skip, ça va régler quelques problèmes persistants », ce que je faisais. (mais j’ai fini mon Skip.)

Does anyone have a very detailed and comprehensive guide on how to scale up a Mastodon server?
I'm pretty noobish to Linux but I can follow guides if they have commands and stuff. Though, the only guides I could find were very light on the commands for certain steps.
My Sidekiq has been getting backed up every now and then with thousands of jobs. Of course they eventually clear out but I'd like to just mitigate it by adding more processes or whatever because I'm not even using 50% of my server resources🤷♂️
Any help would be much appreciated.
PS. My server is currently backed up so if you reply to this, I probably won't see it for a bit.😬
Bon bon bon, mon vieux et fidèle PC commence à donner des symptômes de fatigue. J'ai acheté la carte mère il y a 6 ans d'occase et à l'époque c'était vraiment pas mal, mais ça commence à être un peu limite pour mon utilisation. Si une bonne âme voudrait m'aider à faire ma liste de courses, je peux payer en impressions 3D, gravures au laser, ou même faire un PayPal.

I have an #eWaste problem that I would like to solve: two #dell laptops that refuse to boot. One lights up for a couple of seconds, before shutting down again. The other seems completely dead, even after replacing the battery. The laptops are otherwise in decent conditions and I would like to revitalize them for my kids as they come of age.

From Mastodon, you can follow any Lemmy group by following its handle, exactly the same way that you would follow a Mastodon account. Any new posts to that group will then begin appearing in your Mastodon feed.

Inutile dire che non c'è disponibilità a cambiare il sistema rete-materasso da parte dei landlords e che, peraltro, portare via qualunque cosa è difficile (le scale di accesso alla casa sono larghe giusto per far passare una persona).
Quindi, consapevole che la rete a molle è comunque una merda,
e sperando che questo sia l'ultimo inverno che passiamo qui,
mi sapete dire se c'è un tipo di materasso più adatto a una rete a molle?
What do you think is currently the best Mastodon app for Android?
I've always liked fedilab, but the number of times it crashes on my phone recently is ungodly. And there are a lot of other annoying details like the seemingly random sorting of private messages. Or loading more messages in the feed often expanding in the wrong direction so that you have to scroll back forever to find where you left off!
I guess I'm at the point where I'd consider giving another app or two a chance.
