I was today years old when I discovered (a) this #JFK handbill was plastered around Dallas on Nov 21, 1963 (b) by the John Birch Society which (c) Fred Koch (the #KochBrothers dad) helped start.
I biked from noe to the conservatory of flowers today with the kid on the back and HOT DAMN it was honestly one of the most incredible experiences of my #biking life.
Gorgeous gorgeous day. Got to ride up Page #SlowStreet, which is just so lovely. Then down #JFK which is honest to good one of the most beautiful promenades on the planet right now. There was art! There was nature! There was community!
God, #SanFrancisco you can really show off when you want to.

Here's another that, if someone doesn't buy it soon, I may just take home. Not an audiobook but, a collection of audio from historic events on 2 CDs, compiled with a book of background info. Primarily concerned with US events.
If a #Democrat wants change, they just wait 40 or 50 lifetimes, and maybe, just maybe, the billionaires will find a cookie for you that they haven't peed on first.
#SCOTUS is the Supreme Court for Billionaire Rapists, Thieves, Seditionists and Traitors.
The price of justice in #America is money. Open a bag of it. Spread it around. Pay for dirt on everyone. Use that dirt to get your way. Make everyone bow.
A model of the SS Athena in Glasgow's Riverside Museum. The Athena was built in the city in 1923 as a trans-Atlantic liner for the Anchor-Donaldson Line. In September 1939, while entering the Western Approaches (the area of the Atlantic to the west of the UK and Ireland) she was torpedoed by U-30, a German submarine, making her the first British ship to be sunk by Germany in World War Two.
In total, 117 passengers and crew died, including 28 American citizens. As a result of this, the US Ambassador to the UK sent his son, the future President John F. Kennedy, to meet the survivors and relatives of the dead at the Beresford Hotel on Sauchiehall Street. This was his first public engagement and can be seen as marking the start of his political career.
Oddly, this was not the first ship from the Donaldson Line called the SS Athena to be sunk by a German submarine. In 1917, her predessessor, built in Glasgow in 1903, was sunk in a similar fashion in the same general area while on war service for the British Government.
