No More Room in Hell 2 certainly looks interesting. Horror genre isn’t my go to when it comes to gaming (or anything tbh 😅), but zombies always get my attention.
Finished Batman: Arkham Asylum last night. Just shy of 15 years after launch, the game holds up pretty great, with satisfying combat and gameplay, a fantastic voice cast, and a cool island. There's a bit of a blend of Metroidvania and Legend of Zelda-style level design, with the locations acting as different dungeons, but with extra paths and secrets that require return trips with future upgrades to access.
I've been covering a lot of HEAVY news lately, so let's wrap up the week with a little gaming accessory? https://somegadgetguy.com/b/46M
This is one of the coolest solutions for a phone game controller I've ever had the pleasure of reviewing. Let's play!
If you have about five minutes to spare, You Have to Burn the Rope is one of the greatest video games of all time. And the song that plays over the credits is great, too! A Flash game masterpiece only rivaled by the great Frog Fractions.
#MajorasMask running natively with 60 FPS on #Linux#PC , no emulation, with an improved #N64-like controller by #Retrobit. What a time to be alive. :awesome: 🥹
#skald is just the game I've been looking for, awesome retro graphics, fantastic old school soundtrack with DnD like gameplay. Features an incredibly rich story and turn based combat. For only £13 it's an absolute steal. The only downside is it's not Linux native, but runs perfectly under wine.
For anyone trying to keep up with all the game announcements this week and next, check out Games Recap. It has the schedules, live streams and individual trailers in one place. #gaminghttps://2024.gamesrecap.io/
Summer Game Fest costing $250,000 per minute to put up a trailer makes sense. There's a lot of competition around advertising and Geoff can double dip from The Game Awards' fame. But that also means the games shown aren't the best ones available, it's the ones with the highest advertising budget. Last year's event didn't bring much either. #gaminghttps://www.esquire.com/entertainment/a61006534/summer-game-fest-explained/
I have no idea how much Guerilla Collective charges for trailers but it was pretty good this year. A lot of indie games to discover. I ended up wishlisting 10 games. More than any event I can remember. #gaming#indiedevhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojWMAfiSurA
