Started playing Fallout 4 and to be honest I'm not seeing any issue with the next gen update, except the screen getting brighter during dialogs. I don't know if it's a setting or something, but it's kinda annoying. Nothing that would make me stop playing though

Speaking of #Fallout4
I am looking at "Tips for best starting stats" and so so so many sites treat Charisma as a dumping stat... when it is vital for making money in the game. If you do not have enough Charisma to make trading routes you are going to suffer badly both economically and just because you have to carry scrap around instead of having it teleported between your settlements.
Pretty wild that Bethesda was like "NAH, you don't need to adjust any graphical settings for #Fallout4 on Steam Deck."
(Tip: you can add "SteamDeck=0 %command%" to the launch settings to reinstate the launcher that has said graphics settings, but still. HUGE foul on the play.)
Last week I started #FalloutNewVegas and I was thinking I’d put it down with the Next Gen update coming out for #Fallout4, but it appears the update is actually kind of underwhelming on PC. I have never played New Vegas and had only ever played 4 for a few hours. I installed some of Viva New Vegas mods (mostly for Bug Fixes and some Quality of Life features) on my PC and #SteamDeck and I am enjoying it quite a bit.
@thegamerstavern I will be playing #Skyrim one more time....after all these years. The endless story 😆 . I also feel tempted to give it a go to #fallout4 on the Steam Deck to see what this latest next-gen patch brings up. If time after that, maybe will continue with #oriwillofthewisps as my chill game. If you are a new Vault Dweller coming from the tv show - Fallout 4 is chronologically the last game in the series but has the most accessible and modern gameplay. The games don't have to be played in order and can be played on their own, I'd start with #Fallout4 :vaultboy:
I think they've changed the loot pools too because you're usually guaranteed either army fatigues or a black suit in Sanctuary. I got two Captain Cosmos t-shirts (still +2 CHR) and a sequin dress (also +2 CHR). #Fallout4
Well aside from the Parasites I'm not doing too badly. I'm 2.5 hours in and still at Sanctuary. I do have power armour and Dogmeat now though. #Fallout4
