Though they've been gone for several years now, within the walls of my grandparents' house, I could still sense their presence, hear their voices, and smell their familiar scents. Closing the door for the last time today marked more than just an end to my visits—it symbolized the closure of my childhood and adolescence. It's an incredibly sad day for me. Yet, in this moment of reflection, I'm reminded that the sun will rise again tomorrow. Life, in all its facets, continues to move forward. This includes the BSD-based mail system I've been diligently working on, which is nearing a significant milestone.

Tonight, I'll be watching the final episode of #TheOffice. Whenever I finish a TV series, it feels like the end of an era. It's the same feeling I get when I complete a graphic adventure game. Somehow, it feels like it accompanied me through a phase of my life, and The Office has been a part of my evenings for many months. This is why there are some series and games I've never completed, simply because I'm too attached to them. I confess: I've never (by choice) finished Zak McKracken.
We're slowly but surely trying to de-SAMD51'ify our product line since that chip has a 2024 ETA. a bummer because we really loved that chip but it's probably a good time to transition since it can be a year until we get some and even then, the dates have been pushed multiple times. so, first up is the matrix portal m4 https://www.adafruit.com/product/4745 !
instead of a samd51 + esp32, we've got a version with ESP32-S3 WROOM which has 8MB of flash, and 2MB of PSRAM. the S3 has a nice peripheral that can be used to drive these matricies very fast, and the 2 MB of PSRAM will make this possible to drive lots of panels! we kept the same outline shape and functionality, including the built in accelerometer, which makes this LED sand demo a quick port.

Ariane 5 has played a crucial role in ESA's science programme from the very first flight, the failed launch of Cluster I in 1996, to almost the last, with JUICE's success in April.
And between have come XMM-Newton, Rosetta, Herschel, Planck, BepiColombo, & JWST, all outstanding scientific missions 👏
