The letter adds its voice to the more than 16,500 members of the Irish public who have petitioned RTE’s Director General, Kevin Bakhurst, to withdraw Ireland’s participation, in protest at the EBU’s failure to exclude Israel as it perpetrates genocide in Gaza.
The artists’ letter highlights the importance of global events such as Eurovision to Israel’s propaganda efforts, as a vehicle to ‘artwash’ its genocidal crimes against the Palestinians in Gaza which have killed at least 33,000 people, more than 13,500 of them children. ..."

There will be a nationwide test of the emergency broadcast system in the US on October 4th. It is scheduled for 11:20 AM PST/ 2:20 PM ET. It will still make a sound even if your phone is on mute, so please turn it off entirely if your safety and wellbeing depend on it. Only turn it back on when it is safe to do so.
The test will alert all TVs, Radios, and Cell Phones.
It sounds like the QAnon people are going to go nuts when this happens. If you have some in your life, be prepared. It's either a sign of the "10 days of darkness" where millions of the "deep state" will be executed live on TV OR everyone vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine will drop dead/become zombies. Or both, cause QAnon.
I tried firing up a #Windows instance in #AWS#EC2. Super-easy, fast, and doesn't cost anything when not in use (an $0.12/hr when in use). You can snapshot the #EBS volume to #S3 and delete/restore it later to save more. If you’re like me and only need access to Windows periodically, it's a great way to go.
