I like #Matrix and #Signal both for group communications, but there are still many things that #email does much better. For example, I often want to quickly preview a message to see if I want to deal with it now. If not, then I leave it marked unread. Not possible all the messenger apps I've tried. That leads to slower response times because I won't open messages until I'm fully ready to deal with something more complicated. Maybe #DeltaChat is the best direction for the long term.
It seems that the fdroid 1.40 fdroid #deltachat built is broken. Sorry about that. We are trying to mitigate and fix. You can mark this 1.40.0 update to be ignored in the fdroid app. If you already installed the new version then try downgrading. Greetings from #cccamp23
Grazie ai tantissimi che hanno partecipato al sondaggio, come mi aspettavo c'è stato un derby fra gli utilizzatori di #matrix e #Signal, mentre lo storico #XMPP mantiene una cellula attiva. #DeltaChat ha un piccolo zoccolo duro.
Nulla contro Signal che è un ottimo Instant messenger ma uscire da Whatsapp/Telegram per rifugiarsi su un'altra soluzione centralizzata in cui c'è un solo padrone non mi pare un grande passo avanti.

Po drodze eksperymentowałem ze schematami kolorów, ale nawet nie wiem, kiedy to wskoczyło, ani jak to zresetować.

Why is #fdroid so slow to disable the broken #deltachat 1.40 build?
It was already merged on gitlab along with the a fixed 1.40.1 version nearly 3 days ago. How long does this take to propagate?
Any f-droid person here that could make at-least the propergation of the deactivation of the broken version faster?
Context: The build crashes at startup. Since android denies downgrades the only way for people to keep using the app is to de- then re-install, which looses all data (chats/keys and so on)
Delta Chat is a messaging app that works over e-mail! I am yet to test it with someone else using the app, but it works perfectly between my two personal email addies.
