I'm having such a shit time trying to write my " #toplessTopics New Years' Resolutions" #videoScript ... it just keeps turning into a rambling off-topic rant, the same as when I just go in unprepared on camera, but even worse because reading scripts makes me sound wooden and dull TT_TT I wish I knew someone to hire who could look at my first drafts and edit them into something that sounds better...more pithy, maybe a little non-cringey SEO grabbing, just...better than the mess I'm ending up with trying to do it on my own, lol.
I wish there was an easy to use, reliable job posting board for finding #contentCreator adjacent workers to hire. Pretty much it's a wild west of "do a general web search for the position you want, and hope the results you get aren't just scams and spam" to say nothing of trying to find people to hire who match with your work ethic and style of video. I've DMed a few other creators whose #videoEssay s I really like to ask who they hire to edit, and they usually say they edit all their stuff themselves (if they answer at all) but I don't know how to get there...maybe someday they'll have, like, #youtube / online content-focused writing classes at community college, but I doubt it 😅
It's not that I'm only interested in interviewing #kinkEducator s, #sexWorker s, nude #photographer s, nudist/naturists, etc, it's that "mainstream" creators don't seem to be keen on being associated with "adult-only" content that focuses on #activism for the crazy radical notion that #gender based #censorship is BS and either ALL nipples should be banned from mainstream social media and public, or NO nipples 😑
@somersetrik yes, I'm aware. But I'm not even talking about in THEIR videos--just simply letting me interview them and post the interview to MY channel still dissuades them. I'm very familiar with the fears of demonetization--not that I've ever had the "pleasure" of dealing with the fear myself, since my videos are all banned from monetization if not banned outright (see toplesstopics.org/banned for "hundreds of screenshots of my content getting banned on every platform you've heard of and some you haven't" 🙃 ).
It's not that I don't understand why mainstream #contentCreator s are unwilling to be in any way associated for a #patriarchy - unfriendly #toplessEquality channel like mine, I'm just griping how limited my reach to galvanize others to question the insanity of gender-based #censorship is because I can only preach about it (while trying to normalize the sight of my heinous nonsexual female nipples through repeat exposure) on sites that allow full nudity, which is pretty much limited to sex sites, or obscure alternative media with horrible to no searchability that very few people use (like Mastodon 🙃 ). If I could get JUST ONE creator with a large mainstream platform to even mention my channel's existence, it would help lift it from obscurity and maybe legitimize what I'm trying to accomplish, but I'm stuck in the catch-22 of "female nipples are considered sexually explicit nudity, therefore they're only allowed to be visible on sites that allow full on sex". It's infuriating. 😠

I have a dream, most likely an impossible dream, of being able to post videos and photos containing nonsexual female nipples to a platform that has more than a thousand or so users, with competent search indexing so people can actually find my content (so there goes the fediverse, lol), and that DOESN'T allow either:
A. actual porn
B. actual porn AND everything else, including nazis, antivaxxers, and similar scum
Mastodon's great. I've been posting here for years. But as a #contentCreator , it simply isn't sustainable posting here alone. There is no monetization (which is for the best as far as fostering community, but which means there's no way to make money "for free" by just having ads displayed next to our posts), searchability is a migraine-inducing convoluted clusterfuck (again, partly by design, which is great for building community with like-minded individuals, but SUCKS for finding content posted by anyone outside your instance or who you're already following), and there just aren't that many users (and even among the users there are, finding each other is a nightmare--see previous point).
I am NOT saying I want the fediverse to turn into Twitter, Facebook, etc--I think it has many unique benefits that I, as someone who hates sharing space with nazis and other bigots, greatly value. I'm talking purely from the "I'd like to be able to afford to make new videos about topics I care about all day, and I can't do that if I'm not bringing in a paycheck, because that's the reality of living under capitalism, and no paycheck means I have to be bringing in money through another method aka a 'real job' which leaves no time or energy for making videos.
Just, expressing a long and continued grievance about the dichotomy between "has a mainstream audience with monetization and sponsorship options but bans all female-looking nipples as sexually explicit nudity" and "allows nonsexual female nipples, but has a very small userbase, no monetization/sponsorship opportunities, and/or is chock-a-block with bigots"
It's not even about sex work, which I do support, but which is very different from simply wanting to have THE SAME EXACT RIGHTS AS "MALE LOOKING NIPPLES." Every time I'm on these fucking mainstream sites where there are endless posts of topless males just flexing, sexily dancing, etc, while I could literally just sit there motionless, but as long as my heinous nonsexual female nipples are visible, only -I- get banned as "sexually explicit nudity", I just 😡 😡 😡
In Mexico, it is very popular to break piñata 🪅 in the Christmas parties (posadas) and although it has a religious meaning, the truth is that nowadays we do it to have fun and take away stress 🤣

This is a family favorite. It's the @tacobell Chalupa Cravings Box. The box consists a delicious Chalupa, a large, filling 5 layer beefy burrito, a Taco (we always substitute soft tacos for regular), crisp cinnamon twists, and a medium fountain drink. It's a lot of food at a reasonable price.
Basically, the idea is that I go through the #AOC2023 tasks with a #screenReader, make sure the content is #accessible for as many viewers as I can. That means I narrate what I'm doing, the screen reader is audible when required, and the screen reader output is also visible on the screen.
Subtitles and transcriptions may not be up yet by the time this goes live, as it takes a minute for the autocaptioning to catch up. If it turns out these are really, really bad, which is possible, I will transcribe the videos myself using Whisper and make sure they get added to the videos.
My aim with these videos is to show off the accessibility issues that exist, point out easy fixes to them, give people who are curious about this field an introduction they can actually consume in a way that works for them, as well as just create awareness that we're here, we're not leaving, and we'd like to be part of the conversation #inclusivity is pursued.
