@davidho I've had people paraphrase (incorrectly) my books back to me. It is unsettling.

It always makes me think of the scene in #Babylon5 where G'kar slams a person's face in his book.

@davidho OMG! I've had this happen too.

Honestly, moments after stepping off of the stage, this guy kept referencing my work as if I wasn't the person who had presented it right in front of him.

For some reason, this short-plump-middle-aged-woman couldn't possibly be the brain/artist who gave the talk. Even though he could actually see my face over the podium.

It was so crazy!
