Move account between different instances of /kbin?
In Mastodon, it is very simple to migrate from one instance to another. You retain your followers, those you follow, and your messages.
It is something essential in a community that is growing so rapidly and can overwhelm any instance with limited resources.
In /kbin, we are experiencing the same thing these days with the #Redditmigration. There aren't many instances yet, but we could help a lot if it were easier to migrate to another instance with less traffic than .social.
I apologize if this has already been covered, but I’ve seen a lot of people talking about a need for a kbin app. While I agree that a native app would be nice to have eventually, I figured that quite a few people probably aren’t aware of how web apps work. I don’t use Android, so I have no idea if there is an equivalent...
@michael
Actually, you can use this same trick on Mac OS, Android... I use it with Brave browser. It creates a desktop app that functions like a native app.

@ernest I've been exploring alternatives to Reddit for a week now, and I'm loving Kbin. I miss more presence from the Spanish-speaking community, but there will be time for them to discover the advantages of the Fediverse. Congratulations on the initiative, and long live the project.

Yes, I've been on Mastodon for quite some time now. There's a significant presence of Spanish speakers there (masto.es). But I was looking for content on Lemmy or Kbin. Nevertheless, I have no problem with English. Thank you.
