Took a break from work to cook.

@onelson We usually tell them to leave the food on the steps. Our entryway is outdoors, so it's safe. Tonight was pickup, but it's all separated and stored in these cool slide-out compartments. I wish my closet was like that.

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I'm wondering if people end their inline code comments (in english language) with period, or without period?

For example:

Assert that the data didn't change

or

Assert that the data didn't change.

I normally don't end my inline comments with period, but wondering if I should start doing it 😓

This has always been Kara Swisher’s problem with the big tech CEO she now says she’s fed up with. They give her access because she always paints them in the light of being a victim. 🪫 My ~5-year-old MBP has been struggling to keep its battery charged even when connected to power.

I suspect it's a combination of my Anker power adapter and/or the USB-C port on the MBP itself.

I have had more problems with USB-C cables and adapters than all other USB-C standards combined.

@konsonantenboy I think it's a combination of both. I have one of those four-way chargers and I knocked it down to just the one with a different cable. It has a snugger fit too.

My other $30 lifetime guarantee cable tests just fine, but it definitely has a bit of wiggle room.

Fed up with #macOS' #Spotlight. No fuzzyfinder, in 2024; no real drilldown; the way it organizes/sorts results are unintuitive. I shouldn't have to remember what /format/ a document is to go "oh right I oughtta scroll down a bunch to see PDFs” 😩

What's good for alternative launcher/finder tools these days? AFAIK, it's still down to the same candidates from ~10ya, ie #Alfred, #Quicksilver, #Launchbar? (EDIT: Raycast enters the chat! Tho its AI focus is worrying.)
