@amarok @nixCraft To be fair, video container used to upload on platform like YouTube may cause artifacts on a close range mix of dark and funny colors. I didn't test with greyer background, though. And artifacts can be mitigated by a proper text size upon recording, oh well...

Fun fact of the day:

In Vue.JS, if (for testing purposes) you want to hide an element WITHOUT commenting it out, the v-show="false" won't work.

But v-show="!true" works fine.

Hearing about all the changes in is giving me anxiety. I've been working on apps at my past four or five jobs now, but I just have no interest in relearning for the upteenth time, and I'm worried that is going to impact my ability to get another job if I ever decide to go back to work.

How to verify the game is probably made with @godotengine:

  • If it's an HTML/web version, fire up DevTools (F12) with the Network tab open, reload the page like itch.io, press Play and search for a request to *.pck file - it's a common ZIP archive extension for packing game's source code and assets in Godot Engine.
  • *.pck file comes with executable in additional ZIP archive (weird flex, but OK).
  • Don't.

You can just say "updates" and "your favorite Fediverse platform" in one sentence and it's probably self-contained enough to get users new to Fediverse to see your updates and not confuse it with yet another website they have to sign up at (they don't, hehe).

I wish @godotengine had more prototyping nodes like shapes and default tilemaps out of the box.

It would make building demos much easier for folks just getting started.

Finding assets and putting them together might be overwhelming to newcomers.

I just love it when someone in a forum post states that there's no way you're a real Linux user if you run Linux Mint. I'm running Linux Mint on a piece of my hardware and I've been a Linux user for 30+ years and Unix prior to that. I guess I'm not a real Linux user. I better switch back to Slackware.
