Exercises using wrist strength actually help with those problems. I haven’t done climbing, but I do tend to include wrist related stuff in my routine.
e.g. nunchuck exercises are good for shoulders and wrists. Quarterstaff spinning has also been useful.

No leash required.
It’s still better.

  • less noise

Oh, and did I mention, less noise !

I only had to play an hour of “Thief” to thank myself I don’t have door knobs.

Similar story here, except I just stopped using YouTube.
Lemmy’s piping bots help with that.

In India, you get bonus SSRIs alongside your cupcake to keep you in line.

I myself was confused, when I first saw what a vector did in practice.
Really bad name.

But then I didn’t take Comp Sci.

If after the following steps:

  1. Get 2 Psychopaths to make a baby (let’s call this subject A).
  2. Take subject A at birth and nurture it in an environment previously proven to not create psychopaths.
  3. Test subject A after a threshold age.

Get statistical data.

If result:

  1. subject A is psychopath with 99% + confidence, then psychopaths are a race.
  2. subject A is psychopath with < 99% confidence, then psychopaths are NOT a race.

Just to be clear, I will not endorse this study.

In that case, wouldn’t we want to say, instead, that the researcher’s environment was such that he developed mild tendencies towards psychopathy, but not enough to be socially relevant.
I would go so far to say that the average person has a tendency to psychopathy, considering the social state of our civilisation.

Users switched to Facebook instead

It’s more like: those who couldn’t be bothered to make and maintain their own site, went to normie platforms.

You still have stuff like geekring.net

Just be careful when storing HDDs in the trunk. Unless your car has some heavenly suspension, chances are, they might turn unusable in a few years.

This is a much better idea than keeping the juice inside the lemons, as they tend to mix with juices from other parts of the lemon and change consistency.

ulterno,

The peel area, which tends to become bitter if kept for long in the fridge.
I’m just speculating now, but it might be having reactions with other cells in the lemon, causing the taste to change.

The only thing that is for sure is that the test of the juice drastically changes if kept for long (even if in the fridge), whereas it doesn’t, if squeezed out beforehand and then kept in another container, in the fridge.

There’s a simple and cheap answer to this. A potentiometer.
But that is apparently too much cost for a $200+ product.

Maybe if the appliance were designed by KDE…

Wait until AI, Ads and Forced Upgrades becomes the definition of “computer stuff”.

ulterno,
@ulterno@lemmy.kde.social avatar

It’s hard to enshittify FOSS as long as good enough people willing to contribute to de-shittify stuff exist, but that is not the main thing that “defines” any trend.

The layman that tends to use stuff that is marketed (which is unfortunately enough of the people) will be affected by for-profit orgs trying to set trends in their favour. That is what will turn out to “define” the terms. Consider how Apple managed to keep their cult following for so long and how there are still enough people who consider “Windows” as the common name for Operating System. Even though the more technically minded people understand the differences, it doesn’t change the fact that people’s perception will be defined by what’s more in front of them, until they individually realise their ignorance and decide to investigate.

In my case, the Ethernet wasn’t working either.
So I had to log into Windows, to try and find out the correct downloads. Failed that too.

Windows 11 Start menu ads are now rolling out to everyone (www.theverge.com)

Microsoft is starting to enable ads inside the Start menu on Windows 11 for all users. After testing these briefly with Windows Insiders earlier this month, Microsoft has started to distribute update KB5036980 to Windows 11 users this week, which includes “recommendations” for apps from the Microsoft Store in the Start menu....

Seems like everyone who successfully switches, has this regret.

I actually kept dual boot specially for games.
And never used the Windows boot after that (even though the option was there). Turns out it is more fun learning new stuff about a new OS than it is playing games on an OS that you have to fight every time.

Yeah. The carcass of a dead ancient dragon can be used to interface with the infinite void, which will help determine the causality that generated the Model no. of the monitor.

Also ~100Mb/s is in no way the average speed in an Indian household.

You’re right. It’s not.

I also don’t see any specific mentions of india in your link up there to that random site.

I don’t see any either. Guess why. Because it only has the top 10, further emphasising the point that :

the average Indian is not doing “Hella fast Tokyo banddrifts”

It’s just another one of those little balancing features.
Will make a real difference in the long term, combined with other updates.
