So, for the last couple of months I have been working on a DIY arcade booth for the boxing gym where I train. This gym is a very special place where disenfranchised kids have free boxing lessons as long as they are going to school. Some of those kids spend most of their days at the gym and I felt like I could offer them some entertainment with something that is very dear to me. Here how it started.

After 20ish hours of work it finally started to take shape. The hardest part was getting all this MDF properly cut. I also fumbled a few measurements, but we managed to find a way around it. One can notice some stuff is not really straight lol

Embrace your mediocrity, be mediocre. We should really take a step back from always trying to overperform/deliver on every single aspect of our lives. Life is mediocre more often than its not.

It is really punishing if you can only celebrate masterpieces, if you can't be happy for that silly little misshapen horse you drew.

PS: And please, don't mistake "being mediocre" for being a shitty person, I am talking about delivering constant excellence and not being able to enjoy mundane things.

Okay, so hear me out. I have been using Aseprite for more than one year and just as of know I get to know that you can make angled shapes by holding ALT, which would have made my life far less miserable if I knew it since ever.

See, kids, that is why you should read the documentation.
