@retiolus @Tutanota have you tried inbox rules, then add the sender to a rule directing them to your inbox? i think that’s what did it for me, but it’s been a while

@retiolus @Tutanota the tuta spam filter is very aggressive, i agree. It frequently marked as spam emails from a non-profit i’m involved with, sent via gmail with a custom URL. I believe you can set inbox rules that route whole email domains to inbox to guarantee they don’t get filed spam

Of the 2 founders of Mensa, one quit early on due to disagreement with the direction the other was taking the org. the other frequently was frequently made fun of by other members for not being “sufficiently skeptical” because he was into Dianetics and other pseudoscientific stuff

From 1995 through 1998 in America there were 670 arson or bombing attempts on churches, mostly Black churches. That number strikes me as shockingly high, but i guess it was also shockingly high enough for congress

public schools in the US are so weird. I was placed in speech therapy in 1st grade, which is arguably a better indicator of autism in america than having a diagnosis is given the state of american healthcare. In 3rd grade i did pretty good on a standardized test and they had me do an IQ test to place me into the “enrichment” program where they teach you that you’re the special smart kids that are going on to great things, where i mostly learned to fuck off instead of do class work, a thing i applied to great effect in high school

Huh, DJT's stock has traded 22M shares since open today. That's... kind of a lot for a company like this. The price has also gone up far, far, far past what its earnings warrant. (At least the earnings reported for TS pre-merger)

@wordshaper if you look at dwac in the medium term, their valuation has operated entirely on vibes. It was $80 a share in feb ‘22 before the SEC blocked the merger last time. I think there’s a bunch of analysts making money off of its meme status, assuming they are capable of being “smarter money” and getting out probably within a day of the peak

@wordshaper it has been a scam since day 1, i remember when Devin Nunes was named CEO. It’s always been a vehicle to move money from trump support pockets to trumps own, without all the icky “election fundraising” rules that he normally has to work around.

@wordshaper despite truth social being pretty cheap to run, i wouldn’t be surprised if the service shuts down in a year post-merge because it will have served its intended purpose, and that would free Trump to return to his favorite pastime, posting on twitter
