I love my weird yet OP dnd build and I've realized you can do just slightly the same thing 5000 different ways depending on how you want to flavor it and what you want to be most available to you and I love the perverted stats system in this dry dick ass game

I find it hard not to tweak some stats on a character after playing for a bit in dnd.. like I really don't know enough about the game to go into a fresh build, unfamiliar with what I'm taking or what's available to take that would work with what I want to do. and it's fun to have some subpar things are that supbar on purpose but wasting one of your few choices on things that don't stack etc is not

and I can't just reroll the game. Its a campaign lol and I want to have fun and be effective and fight the dm. the dm has to approve of all the changes anyway

If we play long enough I get to level 6 artificer I can cast mirror image... fantastic. One giant bugbear is running for you then he splits into three

I decided to go for more of artificer flavor rewrite for the 'totem' barbarian path, using 'trinkets' instead because my character is already into that and now i'm like hmm.. what if i eventually multiclassed into artificer for my 3rd multiclass...

I'm 3 barb/2 fighter rn for action surge and some unarmed damage. builds like this seem to go into monk or paladin but I don't like that flavor at all and I'm really enjoying being heavily support and positioning oriented. I see people using artificer with bear barb for stuff like psychic resistance armor, but my guy doesn't use armor.. but if I could rewrite those to be accessories that would be PERFECT

also it would be a cute/interesting pivot story wise because of thinking my guy is tired of being The Muscle in his life, but I will leave it up to see how the story progresses before I decide

the idea of having my own little shop where I just sell weird shit I collected and peoples art is massively growing on me, and now everytime I see a little shop like that I'm enamored

this one was rec'd to me on that damn instagram. it's the 'office of collecting and design' in las vegas ( @geet have you seen it?)

it's a collection of miniature stuff and various 'mundane objects'. the thing that caught my eye was a collection of clippings of the various patterns from security envelopes (genius!)

apparently it mostly makes money by doing an ispy scavenger hunt. very cute

my goal would be to sell things though. I like the idea of curating things to sell. there are so many cool things in the world I like to have and see but then you don't want to keep all those forever.

of course you can keep some stuff and mark stuff you like the most way up lol. or only offer it for a trade that is cool enough

the office of collecting and design also caught my eye after the initial post because they do some clearly Ispy inspired posts.

this cat keeps making dry mouth smacking noises but he wont drink water so I have to bring the cup to him on the couch and encourage him to drink and then he chugs it like he's dying
