ernüchterndes Gespräch mit Uni-Kollegen: wenn "prompt engineering" statt "kritisches Denken" nun als Schlüsselkompetenz für Studis und WissensarbeiterInnen ausgerufen wird, dann brennt die #Uni aber gewaltig - und von "Geisteswissenschaft" ist dann wohl bald nicht viel übrig.

ich denke, dass das Internet als sozialer Raum nicht so sehr eine Generationenfrage ist, sondern eine Systemfrage. Kleine und selbsverwaltete Communities gab es immer, nur die Tendenz zu "bigger, better, faster" begünstigt halt auch Kommerzialisierung. Ich war ganz früher mal in facebook und bin rasch ausgestiegen, weil meine Musik-Bekannten das von Anfang an nur als Businessplattform genutzt haben und ich das nicht wollte.

I'm really trying to love #NextCloud for file management, simple task managent and a bit of light spreadsheet work.

The more I have to work with it, the more I'm starting to hate it. 😔

Bugs and UX fails all over the place. This thing gives me the impression of being in Alpha status.

Anyone using a tool like , , etc) - do you really use the graph view and what does it help? How do you integrate it into your workflow?

I first thought I'd try it because I love mindmapping a lot, but I couldn't really make use of the graph so far.

I have been exploring Joplin's graph view for a while and couldn't really find any more concrete usecase rather than exploring connections and observe recurring themes/topics from time to time. It is more of an extra rather than a central workflow element, I'd say. Which does not mean it cannot be helpful!

...and I've to admit I am a fan of mixed methods, esp. when writing or planning. In the toolchain in my workflow, there are several tools/methods I only use to explore e.g. if I want to follow one direction or not. Or to change perspective. Some may find this confusing, to me it helps to keep the thought process in motion.
