@volpeon I’m not sure to be honest. Even assuming everything is stored locally, you'd have to be really paranoid about access. Because otherwise an attacker could see everything you ever did - entering credentials, credit card numbers, private messages, …

Just had a rather funny moment at work:

A coworker - who's not a German native speaker - was working on some invoices. They sent me a screenshot of the invoice header that said: "Zahlungsart: Nachnahme". They thought, something was wrong - why would the payment type be "last name"? Well...

"Nachname" - last name
"Nachnahme" - cash on delivery
(Both are pronounced the same btw.)

German truly is a weird language. 😅

@puniko Offenbar gibt's auch "Smart"-Schwangerschaftstests. Also ein Weg-Werf-Schwangerschaftstest mit einem Display, das das Ergebnis anzeigt.
Und zumindest da gab's tatsächlich eine gute Begründung für: Es vermeidet Lesefehler - ein Display mit einem Smiley ist einfacher zu verstehen als zwei Striche.
