He’ll get sued by Apple for infringing on their OS X trademark, and he’ll invent laws claiming he’s in the right, and he’ll lose billions, and then he’ll claim he invented Linux and he’s a genius.
A chickenpox infection lingers in the body and can surface years later as shingles, which can be debilitating, especially for older adults. Having personally had shingles as a teenager when it’s not dangerous, I can assure you that you don’t want to get it because someone else refused to get vaccinated. When I had it, vaccines for chickenpox and shingles didn’t exist yet.
I can’t really endorse literally forcing vaccinations, but penalties for not being vaccinated are ok in my book.
The chickenpox virus persists in your body and can surface decades later as shingles. Look up what that experience is like if you want. I can assure you it’s not pleasant. Once you get that, there’s no getting rid of it. Children should NOT be made to purposely catch chickenpox. It puts them at rsignificant risk of debilitating disease later on.
One vaccine is effective at preventing both, and there’s no real reason not to get it unless you’re allergic to the ingredients.
Sort of. On one side, they already benefit when the system is more fair, while the other side does everything in their power to rig the system in their favor, trying to lock their opponents out of ever having a chance.
Look at what Texas is trying to do. They’re trying to lock statewide office behind the barrier of number of counties voting for them instead of population. That way Democrats will never again have a statewide office as all the tiny counties with almost no population are Republican-leaning.
So while one side is happy with the status quo, the other side is fighting tooth and nail to make the rules less fair.
Jakrajutatip appears to agree, saying, “We can have real-size beauty, the contestant. Very big size … [But] we’ll have to control the audience [lest] they vote all for the big size.”
I haven’t seen the video, so I can’t really tell from text what the tone is, but these words are pretty damning, and I’m curious what context they could be in that they would seem ok. It doesn’t sound to me like she’s saying the likelihood is low, it sounds like she’s saying “if you don’t fit our definition, we don’t want you to win.”
As I understand it, they don’t need to ask permission, but they need to make an actual attempt at a diplomatic resolution before making the formal request. If that doesn’t go to their liking, then they would speak to the judge.
It should have been a formality, because in all likelihood, the defense would have politely told the prosecutors to get fucked, but they really shouldn’t have skipped that step.
I’m exaggerating here but it looks like no matter what they do, someone will have a problem with it.
Well you’re not wrong, but the point is that the external investigator is not the one releasing these statements, and therefore nothing said can really be trusted. I couldn’t imagine them letting the investigators release the findings themselves anyway, that’s a dangerous proposition if they find shit that hadn’t even been mentioned yet.
what are we going to do about it? - continue to let them have a say in democracy?
Yes, because without their voice, it’s not democracy anymore. That’s how democracy works. The only thing you really can do is try to educate the ignorant.

The answer is that a more precise request gets a more precise result. If you want six eggs, clarify that it’s eggs you want six of.
It can be tedious for both sidesto think about all interactions in this way, but it’s much more troublesome to have to deal with the fallout of a misunderstanding.
In the OP, the message could have been “Go ahead and send out this order” and nobody would have questioned what it was that had to go out.
Data is just information, while lore is storytelling. It’s why Data’s character is more clinical in behavior while his brother Lore is more chaotic and “human”

In Star Trek, Commander Data is socially awkward because he lacks training data. This might be because he was built and developed in isolation from the rest of society.
