I had asked my wife to woodburn a custom design into a piece of wood that would get turned into a desk surface. Hopefully for a desk I'll use the rest of my career as a software developer.

I'm super pleased that it is finally put together! I have so much more surface area and I think it looks great! I have a unique, only-one-like-it desk that I'll cherish for the rest of my life.

For those that have seen my decision-making talk. Remember that car I had on the slide? I kid you not that car was driving behind me today. I got so freaking excited you have no idea. I had never seen it in person before and suddenly it was driving behind me in the city centre here. Foreign license plate too.
