Greek election results.

The liberal-conservative New Democracy party of incumbent PM Mitsotakis, has won 40,79% of the vote and 146 seats.

Its main rival, The Coalition of the Radical Left – Progressive Alliance, won 20,06% and 71 seats.

The Pasok (Panhellenic Socialist Movement) arrived third, with 11,5% of the vote, and obtained 41 seats.

The Communist Party of Greece garnered 7,21% of the vote, and 26 seats.

Many people say that they haven't change at all, and it just doesn't make sense.
Remember, in the past they were \killing/ companies providing alternatives, paying politicians of counties to ensure that Linux won't reach the schools, monopolising the web in every way possible. And all of this while everything being close-sourced.
How does that compare to today?
I don't sat that they are angels, they can't be, but we better talk with facts rather than being close-minded.

Yeah, I don't like that thing as well.
I do like pinterest though, I am not using it anymore; due to not having that much time, plus I am not into photos, but when I was, it was nice, the community wasn't toxic and you could find pictures of any kind from memes to plants.

It would be a nice addition imo.

After talking about it with my Patreon supporters, and here on Mastodon, I decided to stop publishing to Odysee. I wrote a short blog post about the reasons, and the options people have to keep watching outside of YouTube if they want to:

I like the concept of a decentralised currency, but we used it very wrong, from people buying to get rich without effort, to companies selling you digital coins and clothes.
We handled it very badly.

Everytime I go on Odysee, the content there seems to drift more and more towards conspiracy theories, complete disinformation and nonsense, or at worst ultra racist / xenophobic / hateful rethoric. The staff has a history of just saying amen to everything, including white supremacist stuff.

I’ve been thinking of abandoning it (I would keep PeerTube as the alternative to YouTube for people who really don’t want to use YT). Out of curiosity, a little poll about my content:

Yeah, the direction that Odysee is taking is not really great. My final straw was to see them(the makers of odysee) talking about Elon as someone who saves the free speech.

Agree. While I have stopped following them for a while now, their approach was basically:
Anyone can say whatever they want, because of free speech.
That's deeply problematic and shows a very poor understanding of society by people who run a platform aiming to help people communicate.
