All the people disappointed with NixOS right now should consider putting their energy into Guix instead.

I would describe The Guix project as "allergic to corporate entanglement."

@pgronkievitz @daviwil I consider that a feature, not a bug. Default is 100% free software because of the social goal to create a full-fledged libre OS. If people want non-free, they still have that option, they just need a few more steps. (disclaimer: I'm an FSF volunteer)

More progress on the Pixelfed app!

Gosh this feels so much faster and cleaner 😎

Can’t wait to ship this, now it’s open sourced we can target F-Droid and more!

(Don’t expect me to merge every PR though, I have a solid vision for the app and you may be better off forking it)

@dansup Did you forget to add a license? It's not FOSS without a license (and F-Droid wouldn't accept the app without one).

Love using ChatGPT when I'm stuck on challenging things, like regexes in React Native, I didn't know positive lookbehinds were not supported!

I've used it quite a bit lately, it helped write a few https://pixelfed.blog posts too 😉
