One more Google service removed from my life, Google Fi - insanely difficult to port out my number, but done now.

Three left:

Google Music - kids listen to it a lot, but getting them hooked on Plex amp

Gmail - in progress of moving to Proton

Photos - will be the hardest because it's still the best UX out of any manager

Google's completely lost any appeal.

Is there anyone who knows about the internals of the #NeXTStep 3.3 finder/wm? It does some mount magic with CDROMs on inject/eject - but I cant find it documented or if there's API's to hook into that process.

Anyone know a good, not too expensive, in stock #i2c screen? 128x32 min. Seems a lot of cheap or not well stocked options out there or I'm not looking in the right place.

Hi @jcs - I'm using a BlueSCSI in a very old PowerBook, and I found your WiFi Desk Accessory download. Thanks for releasing that. According to my BlueSCSI log file and the DA, the laptop is connecting to the WiFi network preconfigured in the bluescsi.ini file, and things like the Lynx browser actually work!

However, I cannot figure out why, when I try to install the DaynaPORT software, it displays this weird error message during install.

I also can't figure out why (despite the browsers being able to load websites) the router that I am connecting to does not seem to show the Pi W MAC address (also configured in the bluescsi.ini file) in its admin interface's list of connected devices. Do you have any advice?

The past few days has been another good reminder that people, sites, downloads can just disappear at anytime.

MacGUI removed all 40k downloads from their site. There is a 2013 torrent but not even close.

A popular vintage forum had multiple days of downtime with a history of loosing data.

vMac's primary author has been gone for 2 years now.

If it's not backed up to @internetarchive - it doesn't really exist.
