How do you quick edit file in #emacs from terminal? I have this habit it quick „vim” command - it’s quick. But my neovim config is unmanaged for a few months so it’s broken. So you simply open emacs in terminal (slow boot) or have some nice shortcut to throw the file into an existing client?
Does anyone know of vertical pc case with place to shove cd drive and without glass panel? The shape of NXWT H1 is perfect, but the other two things are absent.
I love what Prot and DT are doing for teaching #emacs but 40 minute old movies are not the best use of time. Is anyone else doing something like them in text form? Or is everything on planet emacs?

Does an freedom respecting #eink#ebook reader exist? I want to load books I buy on the computer on the reader and just read them there. I don’t need sync so I do not want cloud. Being able to rsync files via ssh would be 10/10. @fsf maybe?

the biggest missing piece of #SmallWeb is PEOPLE SHARING LINKS. It's cool that we can use RSS to get new articles, but we need the meat-suitted algorithm of recommendations for new sites.
How come i see Arc browser devotees in my work, but I have yet to see anyone promote it here? Is it only the Apple-owned world mindset or is some other malicious thing here?
