I've recently spent 35 days without a working stove top and I gotta share this. Fixing it required time and effort from five (!) companies, each responsible for a different subsystem in the apartment:

  • the rental company,
  • the stove top producer (Ikea and Electrolux),
  • the company who built the building (Skanska),
  • the stove watch (komfyrvakt) producer (mkomfy),
  • and an independent electrician.

#Pantheon is a bit like if William Gibson wrote #cyberpunk / the Sprawl trilogy* in 2022, but it is also different and so much more. It’s fresh and realistic, with characters that are multidimensional (like actual humans).

There’s a mix of pride and suspicion whenever my PRs get accepted without requests for change. It’s “fuck yeah I’m the best engineer!!!1” on the one hand and “I’m sure my reviewer missed something… let me run the tests again” on the other.
