Enjoying this thread where they pontificate about how online video needs competition, but it costs too much to do it.

I've been running tilvids.com for almost four years now on mostly community donations. The problem isn't the cost, it's the fact that every creator thinks they're the next Mr. Beast and just one video away from being a millionaire, and viewers are complacent.

We could all easily collectively decide to change this at any time.

It would greatly improve the open *DAV ecosystem in general. And it would make it possible to sync not just Tasks but
also Notes and Journals across all your devices with DAVx5 (already supports VJOURNAL sync) and @jtx jtx Board.

@protonmail I'd like to access calendar with third party apps on linux and android like any other calendar provider.

@protonmail davx5 fetches calendars and contacts to android and makes it available to the system. The same could be done with an encryption layer. Same as what happens with thunderbird on computers.

It's sad to hear that this won't happen in the future because that excludes Proton as a possible service for calendar and contacts.

I'm still desperate for a map app without a two finger rotation gesture. Please, I need any where I can disable this gesture. It's hard to be precise when it's -20 degrees and my hands are shaking.

Why was this added even? Why would I not want North to be up? Sure tho, it can exist, but let me disable it goddamnit.
