The latest thing I flat out don't understand about Obsidian: if you're editing, and you do a Find Next, why would you highlight the found string but not select it for editing? Baffling and maddening. Haven't found a plugin that fixes this.

@cocoadog LOL, I can't seem to get Mixed In Key to work. It does absolutely nothing when I select a playlist to import. I figured maybe I had to grant it media and full disk access but that didn't help either. 🙈 Not a great start to “get familiar with …”

@cocoadog Welp. I highlighted an onboarding problem and related bug for Yakov. 🤣 I'm probably an uncommon use case, but importing a playlist requires it to be fully downloaded first so there are physical files. Otherwise MIK does nothing. Also, if there are a few undownloaded songs, re-importing doesn't process them unless you delete everything then re-import.

@daniel This is called “age”. It’s what punishes us with days of crippling pain for one hour of “sleeping wrong” or carelessly “picking up a moderately heavy book”.

Sometimes age punish us simply for moving as though we’re still full of fresh joint lubricant. How careless! How impertinent!

I was a fan of the Pontiac Aztek and always wanted one. I could invision camping in it and loved the thought of having a room ready for sleeping right in my car.

Today’s interview went much better. The interviewer was very professional, conversational, and well prepared (already familiar with my resume and had detailed questions ready to ask). I’m being set up for the next round.

What a thoroughly unprepared pair of interviewers (who approached me on LinkedIn; I didn’t apply). They clearly didn’t read a word of my profile or resume and seemed to think I had no Swift experience or full-life-cycle apps of my own.

Highlight: “It sounds like a lot of your experience is in the past…”
