Good news, everyone!

I just received a phone call from an Apple representative. They confirmed that there was indeed a software bug in the bundle pricing calculation, which was fixed yesterday. They also said that affected developers, such as myself, would be compensated for our lost revenue.

That’s all I know for now. I was told that I would also be receiving a follow-up email later.

The conversation was pleasant, and the Apple representative was very nice about it.

I’ve never had this happen before. We arrived in Montreal to find that our plane from here to LAX was downsized from an A330 to an A220 and Viv’s seat was no longer assigned (and yes, of course we have a third flight in the morning plus a prepaid hotel room tonight).

The agent assures us that Viv has a seat but it’s nerve wracking that we spent $$$ on tickets and the airline does this to us. First world problem I know but the stress is making the good feelings of our vacation just dissipate.

Visibly struggling to get up the stairs to the plane (eff hard stands). Amazing how helpful people can be when you say (truthfully) by way of explanation, “I was hit by a car yesterday.”

Comically slowly, with only sore knees and skinned palms to show for said encounter, but I’m definitely not at the “I walked 5km today” levels of activity from several days ago.
