I played the new Destiny The Final Shape campaign, and it's very good.

Incredibly designed location. It's the perfect length, zero filler missions (except for maybe those lost sectors). Mechanics of the campsite and linear progression was really nice - very little busywork of trekking back and forth needlessly. Story was beautifully cinematic - I even cried a few times...

The final mission/boss fight was a bit of a let down though. Felt a bit anti-climatic to me - I really feel it missing a third act...

I get what they're trying to do - the real finish to that story is in the raid and post-raid content - but as a campaign you play wasn't as satisfying as it could have been.

I appreciate them trying something new though.

There's probably half a dozen reasons I prefer my problematic Swedish music streamer to the eponymous offering from Cupertino, and here's one.

If you like the music in a TV show like "Outer Range?" There's a pretty good chance someone has made a playlist of it. In this case, the playlist was made by the company that makes the show.

This is awesome, and everyone should do this.

Is it me or the hurdle to running macOS on iPad mostly that you can’t log into iCloud on virtualized macOS installations?

And that’s a hurdle because…

Policy? Something to do with the Secure Enclave? Other?

@clarko This sounds awfully similar to the problems hackintoshs have/had logging into iCloud/iMessage.

I guess on macOS stuff like device serial number is involved in the login, which gets screwy in virtualisation.

@Ross IIRC the exact mechanism preventing JIT is flagging pages of memory as executable. Not all emulators do this, and instead they just interpret the instructions.

Man, for the last month I've been preparing for my ILR/residency application in the UK - getting documents together,all my documents, doing the research, etc - and now I can't wait to just submit it all but that's still a month out.

It's just a constant background hum of my life, making sure I can continue living in where my home has been for the past 7 years...

phew - first milestone down. Paid the fee (jesus christ that was a lot of money) and uploaded all of my documents. Really paid off how meticulously I organised everything 💪
