@gsuberland I use the barista one with my breakfast cereal because I like its taste and consistency a lot. I have tried steaming it, but I found that it only steams marginally okay. I'd say it steams a little worse than non-ultra-pasteurized cow milk, so not great, not terrible. Its steam lasts all of like, 90 seconds though so you better drink the result fast 😅

@HeNeArXn On a standard PC case I think these would be too small visually. But you gave me an idea: You could totally do a retro touchbar-like gimmick for a laptop that has enough space to fit this thing above its keyboard. @mntmn

@davedarko Sometimes when they can't fulfill the order aliexpress sellers will just plug a rqndom old tracking code from someone else into the site, and hope you don't notice. They do this because they have to put a tracking code in or the order will get auto-cancelled, and aliexpress validates the code that they put in. I have had the same scam happen to me before, but the aliexpress dispute resolution process covered it.

    @davep @GossiTheDog @malwaretech One aspect I find weird about this attitude is that it puts the onus for filtering on everybody else, something that clearly will never happen on a platform with 10M users. Isn't the neat thing with mastodon that they can choose a client that filters as much as they like? I mean, if nothing else works, just feed every toot through a LLM before displaying it on the timeline! Prompt: "I don't like twitter. Will this trigger me: [toot here]"

    Why is it that in 2023 on Gnome I have to install some random flatpak application to be able to set separate wallpapers for my two monitors (which have wildly different pixel density and aspect ratio)? This is a feature every other operating system respectively desktop environment has, and that is both very sensible and very easy to implement well.

    @yrrsinn I don't know about lockscreens, but for me after trying several things that did not work, installing "HydraPaper" through Gnomes "Software" flatpak thingy did the thing. The UI is pretty bad, but it works. I"m running wayland, btw.

    @deshipu ehhh... personally, I work a lot with file formats and driving hardware from python, and I'm a big fan of the split between str and bytes that I think caused most of the problems moving from 2 to 3.
