...any other suggestions? I have Netflix and Prime.

It‘s not until you want to move away from it, that you notice the firm grip that #GitHub or #GitLab have on you project. I‘d love to move all my repos to @Codeberg but it‘s still lacking some proper CI infra as far as I can see. Running #Woodpecker myself would be great, but I cannot see a reliable way to set up a private instance (not reachable from the public internet) due to the necessity for webhooks to reach it. Any ideas, dear internet?

I have this dear person who I’d love to chat more with but who cannot be convinced to install other messenger besides #WhatsApp. I’m haven’t had WhatsApp for years because I don’t touch Meta/Facebook products with a 10ft pole. I have tons of other messengers though!

This person on the other hand—his reason to only have WhatsApp is that 99.99% of his contacts are on WhatsApp, and being some sort of “app minimalist”. So I guess I’m that 0.01%, they cannot be bothered about, and that makes me sad.

Höre gerade die neuste @lagedernation und mir wird dabei klar, was für ein inhärent und fundamental konservatives Instrument die doch ist. Kaum ein anderer Mechanismus ist so rückwärtsgewandt und Status-Quo-verteidigend wie das grundsätzliche Verbot, signifikant in die Zukunft unseres Landes zu investieren. Und das macht mich wirklich wütend.

@MonaApp Is there any way to limit what will be shown on the notifications tab? For example I don’t want poll results to show up. All I can find is settings for push notifications but that does not seem to change the tab contents.

Hallo #Hannover, kann mir jemand eine Sauna empfehlen? Habe bisher das AquaLaatzium probiert, das ist zwar ganz nett aber viel zu groß/überlaufen. Ich hätte gern eine kleine Location (ähnlich zur Kiezsauna in F'hain, wer sie kennt), die auch gern Wert auf spießig-deutsche Saunakultur legen darf.

I‘m really beginning to enjoy starting my work day early. When I’m at my desk by 8:00 am, that gives me two hours of uninterrupted focus time, before the first meeting is scheduled, plus I can leave early in the afternoon.

I've been giving #GeforceNow a try for the last few weeks and I have to say: it really made me enjoy gaming again.

Last time I actually played something must have been over ten years ago and it's great to not have an entry cost of some €1000+ for new hardware to get going again. And for casual gaming the latency is totally fine as well. Big thumbs up!

@ainmosni I agree, and httpie is my go-to still. But when I’m working on a more complex API that has an OpenAPI spec, i’d like to just throw that at some tool, and have all endpoints at a glance, add custom request data, etc.
