I have no idea what I'm doing in the first stage, but I'm actually doing really well anyway since apparently I'm good at the second stage and a lot of people are miserable at it. Elo is near 300 after a handful of games, but it hasn't stabilized yet. Seems like it'd be fun in person. #boardgames

I got my old acoustic professionally set up in the fall and now that it's spring it's time to do it again myself. Action and neck relief seem fine but I have a little buzz on the D and G strings from frets 3-7. I haven't measured the relief but when I test it it clears the frets with a small gap, so it's not bad. I'm trying to figure out what to adjust. Does that sound like a neck relief issue, an action issue, or a fret issue? Or an "acoustics can have a little buzz as a treat" issue. #guitar

the most annoying thing about the reels on facebook that get suggested is that they're all ripoffs of whatever original poster was there. it'd be one thing if it were organic, like, this hot yoga lady's video is suggested, but it's not, it's somebody stealing some video from the yoga lady's tiktok or insta or whatever, and if I see that woman ever again in a suggestion, it's a different scammer stealing her video, etc.

So after about 199 games of Race for the Galaxy over the last month, I'm hovering around a 200 Elo (note: this is not ELO, the system is named after Arpad Elo). Able to have done this much since live games take less than 10 minutes and playing turn-based let's you go through a pile of games every day with only a couple minutes of investment at a time.

man i remember back in the ancient days of early cell phones, I had to double check whether my phone in fact did automatically update for daylight savings, I had one that wouldn't necessarily do it unless I restarted the phone, and even then I wouldn't trust it until I went to time.gov. I just got a new phone recently, I checked this morning with time.gov to be sure.
