40 years ago today I bought this album. It was scorching hot. I was going to take the bus to the record store. I tired of waiting and ran to the store. I ran home and a sweaty 14 year old me furiously put this on the turntable. I was blown away. People say “game changing” a lot now this truly was. I was changed and music was changed. Why you should still buy #music. I know the Union of Musicians and Allied Workers are looking for $.01 a stream, I think it should be more. I thought about at least $.10 but I thought about juke boxes when I was young, you got 3 songs for $.25. So how about $.084 a stream?

Die Kreuzen goes post-punk. Just as good but in a different way. Doesn’t really sound like any other post-punk sure there’s bits of Bauhaus and others but it sounds like Die Kreuzen. The only Minor Threat recording I own is the CD with everything on it. It is exhausting to listen to it all. So I split my digital files into the original releases and it make it a more enjoyable listen.
