Ich habe gerade den Fehler gemacht, für K1 das #JugendticketBW (~31€/Monat) bestellen zu wollen.

Bisher hat es eine reguläre Schülermonatskarte (51€/Monat).

Erinnere mich dunkel daran, dass wir zu diesem Thema schonmal eine Mail bekommen hatten, die wir damals aber mangels Zeit ignoriert hatten.

Gefunden: vom 05.12.2022 von DB RegioBus RAB: man soll sich bis spätestens 31.12.2022 für das Ticket entscheiden.

Da ich keinen Grund sehe, warum ich mich nicht auf später dafür entscheiden…

Beim heutigen E-Fuels Dialogue in Berlin ging es u. a. um Erfolgsfaktoren, die wir für das schnellere Entwickeln und Hochfahren von E-Fuels brauchen, und um Anreize für private Investitionen.

Marius Skuodis, Verkehrsminister aus Litauen, Volker Wissing und Taku Ishii, japanischer Parlamentarischer Vizeminister für Wirtschaft, Handel und Industrie unterzeichnen im BMDV die Berliner Erklärung zu E-Fuels. Wissing steht in der Mitte und unterschreibt gerade die Erklärung, die vor ihm auf einem Tisch liegt.
Volker Wissing sitzt beim E-Fuels Dialogue an einem Tisch neben Vertretern aus Belgien und Brasilien, auf dem Tisch stehen die Flaggen der Länder.

@bmdv würde allein der sonst von der #FDP und ihren Jüngern so gepriesene Markt über den Erfolg von #eFuels entscheiden, wären diese seit jeher eine Totgeburt geblieben.
Was wir hier sehen sind fossile Interessen, die versuchen ihre stranded Assets (Tankstellen, Pipelines, Raffinerien, Lager, ...) nicht komplett abschreiben zu müssen und ihren Machterhalt auch in einer Zukunft, in welcher diese eigentlich irrelevant sein sollten, durch politische Einflussnahme zu sichern.

Why must the #UX of any kind of #cryptography related tooling on our systems suck so much?

Today's task - manage CA certificates on our clusters' base-systems using #Ansible.

The canonical way on #RHEL systems seems to be, to use #p11kit's "trust" CLI.

"--help" says to use "trust list" - that sounds easy. I'll just compare those certificate serials against my desired state and then import the delta into the trust store…

But: the unique identifier of "trust list"'s output is a PKCS11 URI!

@isotopp hier waren die Mitarbeitenden soweit für Phishing sensibilisiert, dass sie eine Mail der Geschäftsführung voller PR-Speak und einem Link zu einer Survey massenweise dem Informationssicherheitsbeauftragten gemeldet haben 🤣

It's actually a pilgrimage trail. Not that I'd be very religious, but it's a nice trail for hiking, my favorite, and it hadn't been in #OSM yet.

Sometimes I dream of going bankrupt, so $Employer will be finally forced to use a more sane set of tools.
The incoherence between their tools is mindboggling, the lack of addressing fundamental UI/UX issues since many years is pure neglect and disdain towards their actual users, the friction caused by these horribly bloated products might be more severe than not having them in the first place.
This platform is stuck in the past and not moving forward!

This looks a lot like a bad security practice to me, especially when RFC4122 says:

"Do not assume that UUIDs are hard to guess; they should not be used as security capabilities (identifiers whose mere possession grants access), for example. A predictable random number source will exacerbate the situation."

  • "from: @eliasp @ mastodon.social" yields zero results
  • "from: @eliasp" only returns posts, that are a reply to one of my posts. 🤔

I have opted in to search quite some time ago - long before the official latest release.

My lesson of the week!

If you don't want to wander down the road of pain and suffering, don't use nested data structures for your arg specs/defaults/vars - stick to flattened top-level vars like "systems_db_replica_size".

It feels wrong (and looks ugly) doing this instead of using proper data structures, but at least there won't be a need for esoteric hacks and constantly working against 's weird ways of data mangling.

Habe gerade Unterstützung beim Einreichen vom Beihilfeanträgen beim geleistet…

…und jetzt möchte ich irgendwas mit Pflanzen oder Holz machen.

Die Tatsache, dass gewisse Zeichen in hochgeladenen Dokumenten nicht erlaubt sind sagt mir, dass diese wohl 1:1 im Filesystem des Zielsystems gespeichert werden.

Der Rest des Prozesses sieht genauso aus, wie man es vermuten könnte.

Wir können alles, außer digital!

Mein ganzes Leben waren mir in meinem Umfeld keine Fälle einer bekannt gewesen.

Alleine in den letzten 3 Monaten im direkten Umfeld hier waren es 5 Fälle, 1x sogar mit längerem Intensivaufenthalt.

Ist das nur eine verrückter statistischer Ausreißer?
Hat uns allen so das gekillt?
Geht ein anderer Erreger herum, der Lungenentzündungen begünstigt oder auslöst?

Und auch der #SWR arbeitet mal wieder außerhalb journalistischer Mindeststandards und verbreitet weiter die Talking Points der #FossilIndustrie, dass Wasserstoff zukünftig eine Rolle für Heizungen in Privatgebäuden spielen könnte.
Die kürzliche Entscheidung zum Ausbau des (industriellen) Kernnetzes für Wasserstoff wird erwähnt, als hätte das damit irgendwie zu tun.

Deutsche #BehördenIT ist manchmal doch irgendwie erschreckend.
Heute im Rathaus: digitale Unterschriften wurden auf diesem Wacom-Tablet gemacht, welches offensichtlich unter Win10 läuft und in der Taskbar sind offensichtlich diverse fragwürdigen Dinge offen.

Ich erwarte hier eigentlich eine immutable Umgebung, die nach jedem Vorgang oder spätestens nach jedem Mandanten zurückgesetzt wird.

Habe fast das Gefühl, dass das die erweitere Taskleiste der Sachbearbeiterin ist.

@tazgetroete …und wie man es bereits kennt, ist Deutschland mit dem @bmdv und den #CSU-Politikern Bayerns mal wieder die Bremse des europäischen Fortschritts hinsichtlich effizienten, zukunftsgewandten und umweltfreundlicheren Transportmethoden durch die Alpen.

Hauptsache es macht möglichst lange "brumm brumm", mit rund 2,5 Millionen LKW pro Jahr, die stattdessen durch rund 48.000 Güterzuge ersetzt werden könnten.

Die Vehemenz & Faktenbefreitheit, mit der die #FDP jegliche Klimaschutzmaßnahme torpediert, erwarte ich als Nächstes als Vorschlag gegen die Dürre, dass einfach sämtliche Oberflächen versiegelt werden - denn wo Beton drüber ist, kann auch das wertvolle Wasser nicht verdunsten!

Die absurden Preise (400g für 1,99€) von Soja-Joghurts bekommen endlich etwas Feuer unterm Hintern...
Die "My Veggie"-Joghurts von sind bei vergleichbarem Geschmack, aber weniger als der Hälfte des Preises (500g für 0,99€) endlich eine ernsthafte Konkurrenz, nur an der Sortenauswahl (Pfirsich und Natur) hapert es noch ein wenig.

After a long long hiatus, I'm trying to finally get back a bit into #KDE / #KDEPlasma development a bit.
Started by tackling with a minor nuisance I had with @kasts, which didn't display the URL of a link so far when hovering it.
Once https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kasts/-/merge_requests/186 is merged, that should be a thing of the past.

This implementation is 90% blatantly copied from @neochat - that's the power of #OpenSource 😊
