Due to a cut in the cover, I was able to get my hand on one of my favorite games in the Wonder Boy series for the Master System, for cheap. Wonder Boy In Monster Land was still missing in my collection until today!

Besides the notorious XCopy, is there any other program more iconic for the then DPaint II ? I think not.

I'm pretty happy with my near mint version.

The world is going backwards, Linux is getting a BSOD and Windows might be getting a text based editor.

Who's getting the better deal here?

#DailyRetroGame 229: Pitfall II (1984)

An ambitious 2600 game to the point the cart had a custom chip, Pitfall II greatly expanded on its predecessor. Pitfall Harry’s new world was massive – as you quickly discovered on getting clobbered and the screen slowly scrolling way back to a rare restart point. Even more so on the Atari 800 conversion, which used that machine’s clout to add a huge additional stage.

Play it on: #Atari2600, #Atari8bit

@craiggrannell what activision was able to squize out of the 2600 is truely something else. HERO is my favourite activision game, but pitfall series is just next to it.
