@timothyjchambers I think, among other things, this presents an enormous opportunity for people who monetize their content with newsletters, etc. to federate that content. I’m thinking about newsletters that have free and paid options. You could essentially federate the way that WordPress does, so the post that shows up on Mastodon or similar is only an excerpt. It could be a really powerful way to monetize ActivityPub that isn’t gross.

Incredibly often, it seems that Safari fails to load a website. It happens both on my Mac and iPhone and has been happening for a long time. I think this has to do with my WiFi, but I fail to see anything unusual in my Ubiquiti setup.

Anyone seeing similar issues with Safari, or is this some issue in my Internet setup?

(Yes, I've tried disabling all extensions)

@simonbs I don’t use Ubiquiti and I see this 2-3 times a week. I’ve never been able to see a pattern to it but I think @caseyliss reported this on a recent ATP too.

For my #HomeKit nerds: is it possible, via app or otherwise, to trigger an automation when an indoor temperature sensor detects a temp that is higher than the current outside temp via weather? I see how to do it with set/specific temps but I’m looking for a way to notify me if I need to get the AC/fans going before it gets too hot.
