Home theatre needs some new speakers and acoustic treatment - lots of harsh surfaces and the speakers are old, not suitable and basic in the first place. Might buy a calibration mic, take some measurements with REW, buy new speakers then do some more measurements and figure out how to flatten out the frequencies and get close to the Harman +6db low frequency target curve
@static curtain was my plan but apparently not the best idea - doesn’t do anything for sub-120hz-ish frequencies. So need to do more research. Maybe a nice acoustic frame along the back will do (can get expensive so might need to DIY)
saw a sticker on the back of a CD that had the price on it - this came out in 1997, making the $28 back then equivalent to over $56 now! no way I'd pay $56 for an album in 2024
