I wonder what's the most technically influential videogame of all time? I mean, a game that if you removed it from history then hundreds of other games over many different genres would suffer without the systems it introduced etc. You know, like an rpg that brought games a health 'number' rather than just 3 lives, or a game that pioneered the use of two joysticks etc.?

@psychicparrot42 Agreed :) We can kinda 'feel' the inspiration of other specific game, even if author didn't know about it 🙂 Every title makes an impact to the industry standards, big or tiny

Just understood that my game logo is pretty much this guy from the Bastion game from @supergiantgames .
A game that I always wanted to come close to in a way. I don't think it was conscious.

Working on structure placement tool, testing on these humble hay beddings. It works with structures of any shape (i.e. occupying any set of grid cells) and shows what area the structure will occupy.

Next I need to implement actual crafting of these.

I'd like an online game with strangers where I can play as a dog. I can hear voice chat but so jumbled that I can only make out tone, not words. My communication back is different forms of barks.

The other players can understand each other but I'm just a dog.

    Well, your open-world first-person RPG does at least allow you to make a female character, but you're in EA and have no romance even officially planned at the moment, and I can't actually play it because first-person.

    It would be really nice if blender had the ability to highlight in red faces that aren't 3 or 4 sided (An "ngon highlight" view in the viewport overlays section.)

    I'm sure I could make that pretty easily, but want to know if others feel like it would be useful. Right now, I'm manually selecting all N-Gons and then assigning them to a group, but it would be much more efficient for there to be a way to automatically highlight ngon faces.
