Bulbapedia is currently undergoing maintenance ahead of a major update.
We do not currently have an ETA for how long it will take this to be completed. During this time, the wiki will be locked for edits. You should still be able to view the wiki just fine, though depending on where we are in the process, you may be redirected to viewing a cached version of the website.
We'll give you an update as soon as we've got a firm ETA for when it'll all be done.
Today's maintenance period on Bulbapedia is complete. We will be having additional extended maintenance some time next week. We'll keep you posted once we've got more information.
In the context of our recent delayed news posts, worth noting that this isn’t one. TPCi really did just publish their 2022 report in the middle of January 2024.
Over the holiday break I’ve been playing #Pokemon Colosseum. Tonight I fought the last battle, and have been working through the postgame. The final shadow Pokemon requires that you fight through 16 trainer battles, all of which use Pokemon that are level 60-70. The Pokemon you can snag during the final battle?
@dstaley On the plus side, said Shuckle has a catch rate of 190, making it one of the easiest Pokémon to catch in the game. So long as it doesn’t KO itself with Shadow Rush, you’ll probably snag it quite easily.

I just noticed that @bulbagarden (which I believe is one of the oldest online Pokémon communities) now features their Mastodon feed (as opposed to X) on their Main Forums page.
Our team is currently performing maintenance on Bulbapedia. While this maintenance is ongoing, search on Bulbapedia will be temporarily disabled. User sessions will also be impacted, so users need to log back in once things are complete. We'll give you an update once it's done.
Maintenance for today is completed, but we've got more maintenance work coming tomorrow. That work will require us to lock the Bulbapedia to editing for a short time. We'll give you a heads up before that one starts.
