@buru5 That point was more jumping out of the magazine review that said it was better than Doom. GoldenEye was awesome but the hype was unreal. I agree though. This game was about the memories you made with the people you played with.

It's good that Starmer didn't let Sunak's usual pre-prepared "what is a woman" jibe slide at #PMQs this week, but the man does it every week! You think trans people and their families aren't watching other weeks? Starmer gets credit for doing less than the bare minimum again but such is British politics I guess.

Latest find from the local #retrogaming shop: Secret of Mana US NTSC for #SNES complete in box, €70. Works nicely with the Pro Action Replay 2. Usually I get better deals on games when I visit the UK but I guess there's a bit less demand for English-language NTSC SNES RPG's in Germany. I'm looking forward to playing this properly once the Baldur's Gate-mania subsides.

I also got one of these, it's a Motorola F3, a feature phone that has an e-ink display, iirc it's from 2005 or 2006

oh and i forgot, but it also has voice prompts for accessibility, this one has English, Spanish and Portuguese

i need to go and buy a prepaid sim card to see if it's working and ill make a quick video about it, it's pretty cool.

@mrpablington It's a great video and I like the little bit of Spectrum history in there too. MVG really knows his stuff and how to explain it in a way that's engaging. Also worth checking out his history of N64 emulation (UltraHLE) and Street Fighter Alpha 2 (SNES) videos if you've not seen them yet. Or this. @TolarianCollege About a pre-con plus inflation. The biggest group of paper Magic players was always the kitchen table players. People who just buy the odd booster and don't go to events and don't know about different formats but heard about Commander and thought they'd give it a try.
