This update adds a whole new two-stage mission! And since June we've added heist advantages, game options, security AI display, visual improvements, unit AI upgrades, & much more!
We'll be live on Twitch (including a special appearance by younger brother Martin!) to hang out, answer questions, and celebrate 5 years of Frontiers. Tune in!
Wildermyth, Vagrus - The Riven Realms, and our own Star Traders: Frontiers partnered up to offer a new Steam bundle for players who love deep & replayable RPGs. If you already own one game, you still get the discount on the others.
All three of our games offer hundreds of hours of playtime; check 'em out!
Always take a moment to look around the map. Evaluate enemies, security devices, objective locations of course, but also keep an eye out for tucked-away lockers.
From extra medkits to rare crafting blueprints, the extra loot you find in these can sometimes be worth the risk of straying from your objectives.
In the full game, you can work your network of contacts to earn or trade favors; use them for advantages on heists! Bypass security, get a resupply between stages, suppress alarms or reinforcements…
Help us get the word out! Cyber Knights: Flashpoint is a detailed strategy RPG with XCOM-like combat, extensive stealth options, squad member stories, faction reputation, and more.
Give this a boost 🔁 if it sounds like your kind of game!
Trying out Kbin as a reddit alternative. There's a gaming community - https://kbin.social/m/gaming - with about 6500 subscribers. Gamedev, sci-fi, and RPG communities… the site's still early stage with a lot of gaps & rough edges, but the core content and search functionality is there.
Still hoping Reddit will change course, but doesn't hurt to have another good content hub.
Among other things, you'll get a look at some of the ways we treat squad members differently from XCOM and other squad tactics games, our expanded stealth options, and the mercenary world you live in.
#Gamers of Mastodon, your #Monday reminder to scroll back through #ScreenshotSaturday posts from this weekend. 😄 Check out all the awesome games being worked on, like:
@gamingonlinux I was just chatting with a dev yesterday who'd gotten a Steam Deck dev kit, had put a ton of work with his team into adjusting their game to be perfectly compatible, and now Steam won't even review it. Too long of a queue for them to look at mid-sized indies apparently. 🤦
