@puppygirlhornypost Statistically there must also be a fair number of intersex people here who don't even know they're intersex. In my generation the standard advice to parents was not to tell the children. Some will have disregarded that but I suspect most have never told them.
@fallenvalkyrie@puppygirlhornypost It would depend a lot on what type of intersex you are. Sometimes it's obvious at birth, sometimes it only become noticeable at puberty and sometimes it would never be visually apparent. As often happens, a single word can mask a variety of experiences. If you've had surgery shortly after birth you wouldn't know unless your parents told you, or it went horribly wrong, and I do unfortunately know someone in that category. If there was never anything visually apparent you might not know either. If your testes decided to wait to put in an appearance until puberty it would be hard not to notice, but you'd probably be pretty freaked out since I think few people would be aware that can happen.
It was always interesting to me growing up in the days before LaTeX how, although #math and computer science were clearly joined at the hip— it was only my math homework that was impossible to type. And not just due to missing symbols— there were whole missing models of expression. This has changed in many ways— but the person who can type calculus notes in real time remains rare. Probably, handwriting recognition will fill this need before fast and natural #LaTeX typing becomes common.
@futurebird The fact that LaTeX is more about presentation than meaning is a barrier to making mathematics more accessible to the visually impaired. There's Content MathML but in practice it's so annoying that no one uses it. It would be great to have something with the (relative) simplicity of LaTeX but which can be converted to sensible audio as well a visual presentation.
@puniko On my phone I have autoloading animations turned off and I have the "cat friend :3" option turned on, so this appeared as an empty box, and the cat promptly ran into the box and fell asleep.
