How is this legal?

Why should it be illegal to not sell your things to people, as long as the reason isn’t discrimination?

This car is more of an advertisement than a product, so they want to choose their customers.

It also makes the owners feel like they’re in an exclusive club.

Tätä vielä vaikeuttaa se, että ongelmat tai niiden vakavuus eivät välttämättä edes näy selvästi ulospäin ennen, kuin jotain tapahtuu. Opettajat voivat herätä vasta, kun joku jättää tulematta kouluun tai tekee jotain pahempaa. Ehkä tähänkin auttaisi pienemmät luokkakoot, ym., mutta se taas maksaa rahaa.

Ja löytyykö aikuisena harrastusta jatkaneita tai aloittaneita? Minulla oli lapsuudessa vain yksi sormilaatikko ja se oli vieläpä halpismalli ja siten melko heikkolaatuinen. Tykkäsin kuitenkin sen väristä. Se oli kauttaaltaan viininpunainen ja kuutiomallinen. Ehkä hieman laventelin sävyinen auringon valossa....

Koskeeko tämä pelkästään kuvaputkiaikaa? Vanhoja telkkareita löytyy varmaan ihan merkittävä määrä patuilta ja ihmisten mökeiltä, tosin jälkimmäinen on ehkä vähemmän tarpeellinen kohde.

Y’know, I was just going to mention Fandom. I have no idea how well this will work for Wikipedia, but I know something like this can work great for games.

Fandom is straight up harmful to game communities, and I think federation makes a lot of sense with per-game / series / etc. instances.

I’ll look at this a bit more later, quite interesting idea.

What have I done?! My abomination of an idea of bridging my email and ActivityPub progresses. If you see this message, something is working! Comments replies are welcome as it's a good test of this system :) People keep saying ActivityPub is a lot like email. If it's so similar to email, could I use my email client to interact with the fediverse? Previously I did this by writing a SMTP interface to the Mastodon HTTP API. That worked. But as we probably know, the fediverse is not Mastodon; it's really ActivityPub. The real deal would be working with ActivityPub directly, not the Mastodon HTTP API. And that's now (mostly?) working! In shonky diagram form, sending looks like this: laptop --SMTP--> my_server --ActivityPub--> fediverse Replies look like this: fediverse --ActivityPub--> my_server --SMTP--> mailbox <--IMAP-- laptop my_server translates back and forth between ActivityPub messages and mail messages. For example given the message: Date: Wed, 6 Mar 2024 16:37:59 +1100 From: Oliver Lowe To: localtesting@aussie.zone Subject: test 2 test hello world! I joined fediseer with this lemmy instance. I don’t know what’s going to happen with your self-built software, but getting a guarantee is easy, if your instance looks credible. I’m not aware of anyone that uses it as a filter at this point either.

Anyway, this is an awesome project. If you keep working on it and need a fediseer guarantor for the site, I’m happy to do that.

Alkutietojen perusteella oli syytä epäillä, että eduskunnan omistuksessa olevaan, kansanedustajan ja valtioneuvoston jäsenen käytössä olevaan puhelimeen oli kohdistunut tietomurto.

Lintilä taisi oppia kantapään kautta, että tietomurto ei ole erityisen kevyt väite, jonka voi vain heittää ilmoille ja unohtaa.

Sain kuvanmukaisen sähköpostin. Ilmeisesti olen sit sen verran kantis et Reddit tarjoaa mahdollisuutta osallistua niiden osakkeiden ostamiseen, kun ne on listautumassa pörssiin. Mut se on rajattu vain Yhdysvalloissa asuville, joten en kelpaa....
