Back in the Obama era it was well understood and often discussed how the problems in the black community were theirs alone, there was much discussion about how failings within that community were pretty much independent from the actions of any other community and required actions by blacks to fix it. Things like violence, single motherhood, etc, were all openly discussed. Once Trump came around, all discussions on that were called racist.

Now we are at a point where blacks killing other blacks is essentially blamed on Whitey themselves or just some nebulous negative force that is pushing them to do this, never do they actually discuss the elephant in the room.

A lack of equality doesn't kill black people, Tyrone does.

At this point, I'd imagine that when the devs of any new live service game see their game hit the top of the twitch charts, that at least a few of them make sure to keep their LinkedIn profiles up to date in anticipation of the downsizing that they'll have to do in 6 months when all the hyped up 12 year olds move on to the next game Dr Disrespect is playing or whatever.

@RatPoster Xbox has 2 consoles in development (supposedly), one is a marginal upgrade to the series X without a disk drive, and the other is some Steam Deck ripoff, other than those I can't see them coming out with a new bespoke generation, the next Halo is probably going to be multiplatform. Sony has maybe 1 more generation left in them until they hit that wall too.

After playing a few hours of Ghosts of Tsushima I have come to the conclusion that Assassins Creed Coalburner or whatever that new Japanese one is (that Ubisoft is making as a desperate bid to not go bankrupt and get bought up by Microsoft) doesn't need to exist, we have the better version, a version that also has a sequel in the works.
