    I know it's the internet, and I probably should question everything as a result, but...

    Briggs & Stratton, a company well-known for making small engines, seems to have been taken over by Marketing. They are seriously claiming that some of their latest engines don't need basic maintenance.

    "Basic maintenance" being "regular oil changes."

    It's only "No oil change needed" if you plan to keep the thing for 3 years. Otherwise, you need to change the oil and keep it topped up.

    @shoq @desafinado yes, they use animations, because the real thing would either be boring or extremely difficult to capture in a way that would be interesting to the general public.

    Single click to select, double-click to open. It's the only sane way to use a PC.

    In Germany, it is prosecutable to like/boost a post that is prosecutable because a like is considered a statement that you are agreeing with the boost (or rather making it your own).

    Hence editable posts can cause severe legal issues if you don't track timestamps of likes/boosts and edits.

    @zachleat I still don't understand how people do this, but I grew up with a 1GB ddr2 athlon PC and mostly use my current PC in the same way still.
