"Being critical of those in positions of power is a healthy thing, but there are times in which trust in leadership makes sense – like listening to firefighters evacuating a building or public health officials during a global pandemic."

The difference here is that a firefigher is an expert in their profession. Whereas the political leader or the business leaders is in a position of power for many reasons, and most of them have nothing to do with expertise. With the fire-fighters we can trust they are their for our benefit, with those in power, (corporate & political) we can't be so sure.

Because I have my History turned off on the #Youtube app they are refusing to show me an Algorithmically generated feed.
I'm not sure they understand how many people see this as an absolute win!!
