I think HOAs would be the most effective way for fascists to take control in America. A snitch in every neighborhood. People with nothing better to do besides making others miserable empowered by the state to fuck people over for small rules violations.
I wish we had a common, shorthand way to describe the movement to increase street safety, walking, cycling, mass transit use/availability, and density. Political polls often ask what issues matter most to you, but we don't have a common way to describe it to pollsters, so its popularity never gets detected.
A little nod to the fact that cities used to not be car centric. Tying the movement as a return to something that worked better is always a good way to win moderates
I don't know why the state of #Utah is bound and determined to build a port on toxic, sensitive wetlands when there's plenty of toxic, hyper-low-density industrial land around Magna. Heck, the Church has an enormous empty plot right next to the UP Intermodal. Let that be your port.

If we somehow end up with a speaker Jeffries, we need to immediately try to repeal the Comstock act. Pro-life advocates and GOPers have been saying that Trump could use the Comstock Act to immediately ban drugs like mifepristone and medical equipment that can be used to carry out abortions.
Dems need to sound the fucking alarm and make sure everyone knows Plan-B is on the ballot. Get it to a vote and let the GOP publically support keeping an 1873 chastity laws on the books.
